The toolbar comprises seven items that provide quick access to commonly used features.

Sync Folders
This item causes all folders to be synchronized, uploading and downloading any files required. This can be used to prompt PowerFolder to perform an immediate scan of folders if there has been a recent change to folder content.
Setup
This item displays the folder setup wizard, which allows you to create new folders and open invitation files. The wizard will guide you through the configuration and creation of a folder from new or from an invitation.
Find Users
This item opens a dialog to help you find new PowerFolder users by name. When users have been found, they can be added to your friends and invited to join folders.
Run Silently
This item prevents PowerFolder from carrying out its regular folder scans. This will prevent PowerFolder from detecting any changes to folders, and can be used to keep disk activity to a minimum.
Preferences
This item opens the preferences dialog. The preferences dialog has several tabs, each containing various configuration settings. This can be used to customize how PowerFolder behaves.
Help
This item opens the About PowerFolder dialog. This dialog contains details of the PowerFolder system, your computer system and information about the PowerFolder team. It also has buttons for checking for updates and for submitting bugs.
