The buttons on top:

Disable synchronization of files and keep your computer from checking shared folders for changes.
- Preferences
Dialog box that allows you to change your nickname, edit your Dynamic DNS settings, your upload limit, your language, theme and base directory for all folder shares. The upload limit defaults at 9999 KB/s. Keep this setting unless your are experiencing slow network performance. A good solution is to lower the limit while you are using the network for browsing or checking your email and then returning it to 9999 when you are away from your computer. This is especially helpful when you are participating in active sharing of Private folders or a member of a Public folder. Your base directory defaults into Documents and Settings/$login name/PowerFolders.
