General Information Regarding Port Settings

As a rule, PowerFolder will operate on port 1337 unless otherwise specified. From time to time various hardware or software configurations will block PowerFolder from using this port, resulting in limited or no connectivity. Notes on Firewalls

If you have a third-party firewall running (Kerio, Zone Alarm, etc) please ensure that you allow PowerFolder In, Out, or Trusted levels, otherwise you will get limited connectivity. Also note if you are running the Java Webstart version make sure Java processes also have access to the internet.
